Introducing our most playful case yet...

This Pride Month, we're celebrating the beautiful diversity of the LGBTQ+ community with a limited-edition case designed by Wednesday Holmes, a queer artist who's all about embracing authenticity and joy. We have launched a playful campaign that centres on the universal truth that everybody sweats—no matter who you are, where you come from, or who you love. 

And for every case sold, we’re donating £1 to Wednesday’s chosen charity The Clare Project who offer support, information + workshops for trans, non-binary and intersex adults in Sussex.

Who is Wednesday Holmes? 

Wednesday is a Brighton-based illustrator, writer and community worker. They are the brilliant mind behind our most playful case yet. “My design focuses on the joy of existing as a queer person. Celebrating life in all its complexity is the most important thing in the world to me” 

Their main art project is based on instagram, where they share artworks, photographs and writing about and for queer people to a global audience. Wednesday’s work seeks to provide education, empathy and kindness. Their art covers a range of topics such as transgender, gender nonconforming, and intersex (TGNCI) advocacy, mental health, recovery and community.

Early in their career, they taught a Queer illustration tutorial for the Tate London, had their artwork exhibited by the V&A and at the Heller Gallery in New York. Wednesday was named by Out Magazine as one of the worlds top Queers to follow on instagram in 2019. Wednesday was also nominated by Queerty as “Game changer of 2020” and was honoured by Whalar as the face of ‘Advocates’ for their 2020 trends report. Wednesday was then asked to be a part of a documentary named ‘Soul of a Movement’ about the modern queer rights movement in the UK and Ireland. 

Who is The Clare Project? 

The Clare Project is a Sussex based charity that was established in 2000 when a group of trans women started meeting in the back room of a hairdressing salon to discuss issues affecting their local community. 

Now a registered charity run by and for trans, non-binary, gender-variant and gender-questioning people. The aim is to reduce social isolation in the community and improve the wellbeing and quality of life of community members. They do this by running various support groups, information sessions, workshops and excursions as well as providing information and training for individuals and organisations on community needs, and connecting people to affirmative peer support, psychotherapy and healthcare.
